本講演は，本塾での10年間の研究のうち，重要な部分をまとめたものである。2012年に教科書『マルクス経済学』を出版して以降，「マルクスの基本定理」を支える研究，特にその前提として不可欠な「労働価値説」の証明に焦点を当てた研究を行った。具体的には，生産活動を単なる自然科学的関係としてではなく，経済学の対象である人間の選択行動とみなし，投下労働量と得られる生産物量とをバランスさせる最適化問題として定式化し，かつ生産物量と投下労働量との間の比例性を証明する作業である。なお，この比例性には機械制大工業の成立が不可欠となっているという意味で労働価値説は歴史的存在であると言える。そのことも説明する。
This study was designed to summarize key findings from my 10 years of research at Keio University. The lecture, among other things, focuses on the research to support the "Fundamental Marxian Theorem (FMT)" as a notable research achievement since the publication of the textbook Marxian Economics in 2012, particularly the proof of the labor theory of value, which is indispensable as a premise for the proof of FMT. The lecture specifically explained the necessity to formulate the problem as an optimization problem between the amount of labor input and output obtained. That aim was to express the mechanism of human behavior as an object of economics and the condition of proportionality between the amount of output and that of labor input rather than mere natural science. Finally, I explained that establishing the machine-based large industry is critical for proving the condition, and thus, the labor theory of value is a historical category.
