| Abstract |
高度交通情報システム (ITS) のために研究されてきた自動車アドホックネットワーク (VANET) を通信基盤として、情報指向ネットワーク (ICN) の考え方に基づく情報交換・共有機構を導入し、効率的で安定した情報交換・共有・管理を実現する分散情報共有基盤を研究開発することを目的とする。具体的には、(Ａ) 情報指向アプローチによる通信機構、(Ｂ) 仮想情報提供者・仮想コンテンツストアを導入した分散情報共有基盤の構築手法、(Ｃ) 情報指向アプローチによる通信機構・分散情報共有基盤上でのITSアプリケーションの実現手法について提案し、計算機シミュレーションによる評価より、その有効性を示した。
In this research project, we extended vehicular ad-hoc networks (VANETs) with an information centric approach, namely IC-VANET, to provide a distributed vehicle information sharing platform with more stability and efficiency for Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) in VANETs. We proposed (a) IC-VANET communication protocols; (b) an IC-VANET distributed information sharing platform that utilizes virtual information providers and virtual content stores that run on top of VANET; and (c) a scheme for infrastructure-less dynamic route guidance systems (DRG) as an ITS application in IC-VANET. We evaluated the performances of the proposed protocols and mechanisms for IC-VANET through computer simulations for various traffic conditions in an urban city.
