今年度は、主に仏教施設と交通との関係について考察するための基礎的研究を行った。第一に、奈良時代から平安時代前期において、地方から都にかけて往来していた地方豪族と運脚夫について考察し、特に運脚夫の往来を支えていたものが、地方豪族が建立した寺院や、村落の有力者が建立した村堂であったことを指摘した。第二に、平安時代初期において、都鄙間交通をしていた僧侶が執筆したと考えられる『東大寺諷誦文稿』の分析を行い、本史料が地域社会の寺院と村堂の両方で行われる法会の説法の手控えと関わる史料であったことを指摘した。第三に、平安時代中期成立の良源著『二十六箇条起請』を読み込み、比叡山をめぐる多様な交通の在り方について考察した。
This year, I conducted basic research mainly to consider the relationship between Buddhist facilities and transportation. First, from the Nara period to the early Heian period, I examined the local nobles and "Unkyaku fu"（運脚夫）that traveled from the countryside to the capital, and pointed out that the temples（寺）built by local nobles and village halls（堂）built by influential people in the villages in particular supported the movement of "Unkyaku fu"（運脚夫). Second, I analyzed the "Todaiji fuju monko,"（『東大寺諷誦文稿』）which are thought to have been written by monks who traveled between the capital and the countryside in the early Heian period, and pointed out that this historical source was related to the draft of the preaching of the puja held in both temples and village halls in the local community. Third, I read carefully Ryogen's "Nijurokkajokisho"（『二十六箇条起請』）established in the middle of the Heian period and examined the diverse forms of transportation around Mt. Hiei(比叡山）.
