コロナ下でインタビュー調査を進める取り組みをはじめて3年目となった。本研究課題では、令和2年度に実施した「リモートオーラルヒストリーメソッドの開拓」（学事振興資金A）の成果を発展させ、実地で運用することに焦点を合わせて、インタビュー手法の開発と実践に取り組んできた。開発と実施は、オーラルヒストリーワークショップの学生と、オーラルヒストリーゼミの学生にかかわってもらい、テープ起こし専門家の若林氏、生活史研究者の岸政彦氏、ウェブメディアで多くの閲覧者を獲得している徳谷柿次郎氏に専門知識を提供してもらいながら進めた。
研究に関わる成果としては、「話を聞き、声を聴く」『公研』706号で、リモートが進む社会のなかで声を聴くことの方法と意義についてまとめた。また総合政策学部創立30年のブックプロジェクトのなかで「『開かれたオーラルヒストリー』の実践と方法」で具体的なオーラルヒストリープロジェクトの進め方を実践報告形式でまとめることができた。
教育への波及効果としては、上述のオーラルヒストリーWS、オーラルヒストリーゼミ生の最終課題、タームペーパー、卒業プロジェクトで、リモートオーラルヒストリーを定着させることができた。それが評判を呼び、昨年度からは山形大学人文社会学部の講義にもジョイントで研究代表者がかかわるようになった。来年度からはSFC生も参加していく予定である。
高校生に向けても、SFC生が参加するかたちでリモートオーラルヒストリーの方法を伝える動きが広がり始めている。今年度は長野吉田高校の総合学習においてインタビューワークショップを展開、沖縄県教育委員会の進学力グレードアップ推進事業でも、高校1、2年生それぞれ30名に対して、研究代表者とSFC生が講義とWSを行った。NPO法人青春基地との連携も継続している。
こうした実績をもとに、来年度は書籍としてこの研究内容をまとめていきたいと考えている。
This is the third year that we have conducted an interview survey in Corona, Japan. In this research project, we have been developing and practicing interview methods by expanding on the results of the "Developing Remote Oral History Methods" project (funded by Keio universtiy, as the prior project) conducted in 2020, focusing on practical application of the methods. The development and implementation was carried out with the involvement of students in the Oral History Workshop and Oral History Seminar, with the expertise of Ms. Wakabayashi, a transcriptionist, Mr. Masahiko Kishi, a life history researcher, and Mr. Kakijiro Tokutani, who has gained a large audience through web media.
The results of my research, "Listening and Hearing Voices," KOKEN, No. 706, summarized the methods and significance of listening to voices in an increasingly remote society. In "Practice and Methods of 'Open Oral History'," a book project commemorating the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Faculty of Policy Studies, I was able to summarize the method of proceeding with a specific oral history project in the form of a practical report.
As a ripple effect on education, we were able to establish remote oral history in the aforementioned oral history workshop, oral history seminar students' final project, term paper, and graduation project. This has been well received, and since last year, the principal investigator has been involved in joint lectures at Yamagata University's Faculty of Humanities and Sociology. From next year, SFC students will also participate in the project.
The movement to teach remote oral history methods to high school students is also beginning to spread, with the participation of SFC students. The SFC students and the principal investigator gave lectures and workshops to 30 first- and second-year high school students each in the Okinawa Prefectural Board of Education's project to promote the upgrading of students' academic abilities.
Based on these achievements, we hope to compile this research into a book next year.
