法学部のフランス語教育においては, 2004年にはじめて統一教科書を作成し, すべての初習者クラスと一部の既習者クラスで用いるとともに, 各学期末に統一試験を実施することで, カリキュラムの充実と評価基準の平準化をはかってきた。さらに2010年から学事振興資金の助成を得てe-learningによる自律的学習システムを導入し, 1年生と2年生の夏季・春季休暇中の自習用教材として運用を続けている。これらの試みは一定の成果をあげてきたといえるが, 今後はe-learningのシステムに, 休暇中だけでなく学期中の教室での学習と自宅での学習を連結させる役割を与え, 新しく作成する統一教科書と連動させることで, より広範で効果ある教育環境を構築する必要があると考えている。
2017年度は, 現行システムの運用を継続しつつ, e-learningコンテンツを更新し, また統一教科書の全面的な改訂のための作業をおこなった。特に文法項目の選択と配列を見直して, 法学部フランス語のレギュラーコースとインテンシブコースそれぞれの授業内容と進度にフィットした, つまり教員にとって教えやすく, 学生にとって学びやすい, 効果的かつ無理のないカリキュラムの整備に重点をおいた(多くの授業を非常勤の教員が担当しているだけに, 統一的なカリキュラムに基づく「教えやすさ」と「学びやすさ」を考慮することは重要である)。また新たに教科書の別冊として用いる練習問題集を構想し, その準備を進めた。
以上のe-learningシステムと統一教科書の見直し, さらに練習問題集の作成は, それぞれが相互に補完しあい, 有機的に関連する必要がある。今後はこの3つのプログラムの連携効果を研究メンバーの授業で実際に検証し, 必要な修正を加えた上で, 2019年度から運用を開始する予定である。
In the French language education of the Faculty of Law, in 2004 we created a unified textbook, used in all initial learner classes and some of the learned classes, and at the end of each term, conducted a unified test. Our goal was to improve the curriculum and also to standardize the evaluation criteria. In addition, since 2010 we have introduced an autonomous learning system based on e-learning with the aid of scholarship promotion funds, to operate as a self-study teaching material during first and second grade summer/spring vacation. Although it can be said that these attempts have produced certain results, in the future we will create a new e-learning system to link learning in the classroom during the semester and learning at home during the vacation. We believe that it is necessary to build a broader and effective educational environment.
In fiscal 2017, while continuing the operation of the current system, we updated e-learning contents and worked to revise the unified textbooks in full. In particular, we reviewed the selection and arrangement of the grammar items in order to make the curriculum fit for the content and progress of both the classes of French regular courses and intensive courses, that is, easy to teach for teachers, easy to learn for students, in a more efficient way. It is important to consider "ease of teaching" and "ease of learning" based on a unified curriculum especially because part-time teachers are in charge of many classes. We also thought about a new exercise book to be used as a separate textbook, and prepared for that.
The review of the above e-learning system, unified textbook and the creation of a new exercise textbook are complementary to each other and need to be organically related. In the future, we will actually verify the effect of cooperation of these three programs in the classes of the research members, add necessary modifications and start operation from fiscal 2019.
