| Abstract |
本研究では造血器悪性腫瘍のうち、低悪性度の腫瘍から悪性度の高い腫瘍へと形質転換する原因の特定と、これらを標的とした新規治療法の開発を行うことを目的とした研究を細胞のリプログラミングという観点に着目し行った。これまでの試みでは、既存の細胞株からは多能性幹細胞は得られていない。一方、本研究では造血器腫瘍において形質転換を起こしている因子を同定する試みとしてplasmablastic lymphomaという稀な悪性リンパ腫の病態解析を行い、Xbp1(s)の発現が本腫瘍の形態的特徴に関与している可能性を同定し、Xbp1(s)の阻害作用を有するプロテアソーム阻害剤であるボルテゾミブが本腫瘍の治療に有効である可能性を示した。
