宗教改革期における共同体運動に関する研究史を整理し、都市共同体の内部構造や市参事会の役割などの学術的な論点を明らかにし、スイスのシャフハウゼン市の文書館で史料を収集した。2019年5月19日に日本西洋史学会第69回大会で、1525年のシャフハウゼンにおける葡萄栽培者ツンフトの反乱について報告し、ツンフトの内部において団結や共同体意識が比較的弱かったことを指摘した。2019年10月27日に広島史学研究会大会で、シャフハウゼンにおけるアラーハイリゲン修道院の解散 (1524年) について報告し、市参事会による教会に対する管理・統制が進展し、市参事会の立場が強化されていた事実を明示した。
I arranged the history of many past researches about the communal movements of the Reformation in Germany and Switzerland, and clarified important scientific points and subjects, such as the internal structure of city communities and the role of city councils. I collected historical records at the state archive of the Kanton Schaffhausen in Switzerland. At the 69th annual meeting of the Japanese Western Historical Society on May 19, 2019, I reported the rebellion of the Guild of vinedressers (Zunft zum Rebleuten) of 1525 in Schaffhausen, and pointed out that the union of the community and the communal sense were comparatively weak in the inside of the Zunft. At the annual meeting of Hiroshima Society of Historical Research on October 27, 2019, I reported the abolition of the Allerheiligen Monastery of 1524 in Schaffhausen and specified the fact that the superintendence and the control to the church by the city council progressed, and the position of the city council was strengthened.
