本研究課題では、歴史的に中東から多くの人々を受け入れてきたドイツの移民/難民政策と、ドイツ在住のアラブ系移民/難民の移動・適応過程と意識、およびその相互作用について研究を行った。フンボルト大学移民統合研究所 (BIM) 所属の研究者との連携の下で、2018年度に一年間の在外調査研究を行い、ベルリンを中心とするドイツで、シリアやパレスチナ出身のアラブ系移民/難民に聞き取り調査を行った。またドイツ政府機関のとる政策の資料収集と、NGO活動への参与観察を通して、進む統合の過程と、官民の連携による受け入れの実態、残された問題を明らかにした。
This study investigated the interaction between German immigration policy and the process of adaptation of the Arab migrants-refugees in Germany. In collaboration with the researchers affiliated to BIM, Humboldt University in Berlin, one- year field research was conducted in 2018. Interviews with the Arab migrants-refugees from Syria or Palestine was conducted in Arabic. The governmental publications including the issues from the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) were collected. Base on the above mentioned data resources and the results of the participatory observation of several NGOs, proceeding integration, collaboration between those actors for integration, and the remaining problems are pointed out.
