ドイツの経済思想はかつては一世を風靡した経済思想で、少なくとも第一次大戦勃発前までは支配的だったが、今日その意義を理解するものは少ない。ドイツの国際的な地位、とくにEUにおけるそれは依然として高いが、かつてのそれとは比肩すべくもない。また、いわゆる「グローバリゼーション」によって経済学の標準化が進み、各国、各地域固有の思想、とくに経済思想というものはなくなってきている。このような経済学の在り方は必然ともいえるが、国や地域が重要な役割を果たした時代の政治経済思想に思いをはせ、逆に現代の経済学の在り方を照射することは必要な作業である。本研究計画では、ドイツ経済思想の生成、受容、変容を明らかにした。
Germany's economic thought used to be dominant at least well into the period of the outbreak of WWI, but today there are only few who understand its significance. It is a forgotten discipline. Germany's international status is still high, especially in EU, but not as high as it used to be in world politics before. Also, with the so-called "globalisation", standardisation of economics has progressed, and the ideas unique to each country and region, especially political and economic ideas, disappeared. Although such a state of economics is inevitable, but it is necessary to reflect on the political and economic ideas of the times when countries and regions played an important role, and conversely, by doing so, it is possible to irradiate the state of modern economics today.In this research, we clarified the formation, acceptance, and transformation of German economic thought.
