研究代表者が2019年度から2020年度にかけて、Anthropediaのコーチング・トレーニングの受講を修了した。Anthropediaのコーチングの効果研究については、米国のAnthropediaおよびスウェーデンの研究者とも共同研究になる予定だが、2022年度には、日本を含むアジア圏内ではコーチング・トレーニングを行うことはできなかった。
2023年度は、Anthropediaと協力して、アジア圏でトレーニングを実施することができるように検討している。現時点では、米国時間でトレーニングが行われており、更に受講するために一人当たり3000ドル必要となる。使用されている言語は全て英語である。さらに、日本でこれを受講しようとする場合、日本時間の真夜中にトレーニングを受講することになってしまう。これを避けるため、アジア圏内のアジア時間でトレーニングを行う場合は、少なくとも10名の受講者が必要で、可能であれば20名を集めることが必要であることがAnthropediaから提案された。日本において、Anthropediaのコーチングに興味をもってもらい、かつ、受講してもらうことは大変難しいが、現在、受講者を集めるための活動をしている。
2022年度には日本人が参加するトレーニングは実施できなかったため、将来的な受講料として、この学事振興資金に私費を加えて、4000ドルAnthropediaに支払い、将来的なトレーニングの際の費用に充ててもらうこととした。
また、将来的には英語ではなく、日本語でトレーニングをできるように、膨大な受講内容を英語から日本語に翻訳中である。特に、最初は、実際のクライエントにコーチングする際にも使用されるDVDの内容を日本語訳しているところであり、トレーニング自体は英語で行うにしても、まずは、コーチングを全て日本語で行うことができるように準備をしている。
Principal investigators completed Anthropedia's coaching training in FY 2019-2020, although the study of the effectiveness of Anthropedia's coaching will also involve collaboration with Anthropedia and Swedish researchers in the United States, In FY2022, coaching training could not be conducted within Asia, including Japan.
In FY2023, we are working with Anthropedia to explore the possibility of conducting training in the Asian region. Since no Japanese participants were able to attend the training in FY2022, we have decided to pay Anthropedia $4,000, which will be used to cover the cost of future trainings, in addition to our own personal expenses.
We are also in the process of translating the vast amount of course content from English to Japanese so that in the future we can offer training in Japanese instead of English. In particular, we are in the process of translating the content of the DVD, which will also be used when coaching actual clients, into Japanese at first. Even though the training itself will be conducted in English, we are preparing to be able to conduct all coaching in Japanese at first.
