住民の生活が作り出している日常的な風景、いわゆる「生活景」に注目し、地域の住民が主体となって自らの生活景を見出し、地域アイデンティティとするための発見・共有の手法を明らかにすることが研究目的であった。2019年度は都市部として大宮駅周辺と調布駅周辺を対象地とし、農村地域として徳島県神山町を対象地とした。
大宮では大宮アーバンデザインセンターとの共同調査を実施、屋外看板を街のコミュニケーションとして見る景観分析法を提案し、市への報告書にまとめた。今後も継続予定である。
調布では市との共催で２度の市民ワークショップとフィールドワークを行ない、地域の景観認知における鉄道駅の重要性を明らかにした。今年度は駅をキャラクターとしたガイドブックを作成、展示と発表会を行なった。
徳島県神山町では、これまで３年間にわたって継続的に行なってきた研究成果をまとめ、８月に町内で神山つなぐ公社との共催で展示会とシンポジウムを企画・実施した。現地では、「名」「谷」という２つの集落について住民への聞き取りと現地実測調査を行ない、傾斜地の農村集落における歩径路の空間的・景観的重要性を発見した。また、調査と分析の方法として実測した空間を記述するドローイングの技法をまとめた。これらを日本生活学会で学術発表を行なった。
The purpose of this study is to clarify the method of discovering and visualizing and verbalizing the "living scene" created by the lives of the inhabitants and to establish a method for making it a local identity.
In FY2019, we targeted Omiya Station and Chofu Station as urban areas and Kamiyama Town in Tokushima Prefecture as a rural area.
In Omiya, we conducted joint research with Omiya Urban Design Center, proposed a landscape analysis method that sees outdoor signs as communication in the city, and compiled it in a report to the city. It will be continued in the future.
In Chofu, we held two co-sponsored workshops and field works in collaboration with the city, and the importance of railway stations in recognizing the landscape in the area was clarified. This year, we created a guidebook with the character of the station and exhibited and presented it.
In Kamiyama Town, Tokushima Prefecture, we summarized the research results that we have continuously conducted over the past three years, and in August, planned and implemented an exhibition and a symposium in collaboration with the Kamiyama Tuna Public Corporation in the town. At the site, we interviewed residents about the two villages of "Myo" and "Tani" and conducted field surveys, and discovered the spatial and landscape importance of the walkway in rural communities on sloped land. Also, the drawing technique that describes the measured space was summarized as a method of investigation and analysis. These were presented at the Japan Society for Life Studies.
