ドイツ経済思想史についての研究を従来から継続して行っている。近刊予定の書物の構成は基本的には変えておらず、1. ドイツ経済思想の生成　2. その展開　3. 各国における受容: オーストリアと日本を事例として 4. ドイツ経済思想のその後　という三部構成である。このうち、2と3についてはおおむね研究は完了しており、残された作業はすでに発表した論文を手直しし、全体の構想と齟齬がないように、あるいは調和するように書き直すことである。しかしながら、1と4についてはまだ手付かずの状態が続いている。1ではドイツ歴史学派の先駆といわれるフリードリッヒ・リスト、あるいはさらに遡って、ドイツにおけるスミス経済学の受容などについて考察する必要に迫られている。また、4については、おおむねつぎのような構図を考えている。第一次世界大戦までは、ドイツ経済思想はドイツの国力や軍事力をも重要な背景として、枢要なブレゼンスを維持していた。だが、大戦間期、あるいは第二次大戦後、急速に影響力を失い、現在に至っている。現在では、いわゆる「国際化」に伴い、ドイツ経済思想に限らず、各国別、地域別の経済思想を語ることは困難である。残念ながら、以上の作業工程について、今般は進展はなかったといわざるをえない。基本的には、すべて今後残された課題である。
Based upon my published papers, I intend to publish a book with the following outlines: 1. Making of German Economic Thought 2. Development of German Economic Thought 3. Reception of German Economic Thought with Special Attention to Austria and Japan 4. What had happened to German Economic Thought, in the midst of "Internationalization" 
For the second and third parts of the above program I revise the published papers to make them accommodated to the general scheme of the publication project. However, the first and the last parts remain uncompleted until now. It the 1st part, I deal in depth with Friedrich List, a forerunner of the so-called German Historical School, and also the conditions of the German academia around and before the introduction of Smithian economics to the country . Around 1910s, where the WWI took place, the German Economic Thought was still a favorite platform with which scholars and students tried to understand economic phenomena, This was made possible based on the strong military power of the country and its presence in the international scene. In the interwar period and especially after WWII the German economic thought lost its influences. This can be applied not only to German case but also to other regional or national disciplines. Obviously the economics discipline has internationalized in the postwar period. The project has seen unfortunately no substantial development this fiscal year, it remains to be uncompleted and must be completed in the near future.
