日本語母語話者のスペイン語（以下、西語）会話における「割り込み」と「同時発言」の使用を学習言語の運用能力に応じた分析・研究をすることが本研究の目的。西語の会話において重要な役割を占める2つの言語事象に注目することで日本人西語学習者の会話スタイルの習得に関する有用な研究結果が得られることが期待される。本研究の初期段階における成果を以下に述べる。

日本語を母語とする外国語としての西語学習者による対話コーパス作成を開始。コーパスは学習者ペアからなる3つのグループ、45の対話で構成されるのが当初の予定。詳細は以下の通り。
・グループ1： A2レベルの西語による15対話
・グループ2： B2-C1レベルの西語による15対話
・グループ3：日本語による15対話

文字化された対話の分析は量的・質的側面の双方から方言学・会話分析特有の手法を用いて実施。本研究グループの見解では、日本初の西語会話コーパスとなる。西語運用能力に応じた比較、母語と学習言語における言語運用の比較が可能という点が特徴。

本研究の初期段階ではグループ1（A2）13会話、グループ2（B2）1会話、グループ3（日本語）1会話を記録。東京都内の2大学から28人の情報提供者が参加。（1）授業時間外の録音による日程調整上の不都合（2）関西地方の情報提供者と接触ができていないことによりデータ収集は予定とは異なる結果となった。

会話の録音に関する手順は以下の通り。
・学部の責任者に連絡
・情報提供者候補との連絡
・大学の一室にて実施。録音時、情報提供者による同意書と質問票の記入。本研究に必要な個人情報の収集
・各会話は10から15分程の映像・音声として記録

録音の文字化は順調に進行。当初の75分を超えて90分の音声文字化を達成。録音収集開始後、録音時間を5から10分ほど延長することに決定。データの信頼性を高める目的。試験的ではあるが高精度での文字化を実現。スペイン・アメリカ・スペイン語社会言語学分析プロジェクトの定める文字化規範を基にした文字化に成功。東京外国語大学博士課程前期（言語学専攻）に所属する菊地慶太の協力のもと文字化を実施。
コーパス全体のデータ収集は未完了だが本研究の初期段階としては満足のいく結果であり、次段階に進むことが可能である。次段階では、予定した録音データ収集完了と会話の言語事象研究に適切な精度での文字化が目標。
This project aims to describe and analyze interruptions in Spanish as a Foreign Language (SFL) casual conversations made by Japanese students. The high frequency of interruptions, both collaborative and interruptive, is a relevant characteristic of the conversation in Spanish. Interruptions change in typology, frequency and function as students progress. The study of this changes could shed light on the acquisition of student's interactional competence. In this project, we will analyze the influence of two main factors: the L2 proficiency level and the use of interruptions in Japanese.

We have already recorded 13 conversations for Group 1 (SFL, A2), 1 conversation for Group 2 (SFL, B2) and one conversation for Group 3 (Japanese), thanks to the kind collaboration of 28 informants. All the informants are students of Department of Spanish or equivalent at two different universities located in the Tokyo area.

The difference between the estimated goal (45 conversation) and the achieved result (15) is due to the difficulties that arose, firstly, when we tried to arrange the dyadic interviews outside students' lesson schedule, and secondly, when we tried to contact informants in the Kansai area. In order to avoid these obstacles, the procedure for the recordings will be revised for the next stage of the project.

In total, we have already transcripted 90 minutes of the recordings, although our first goal was to transcript 75 minutes. After a first careful listening of the conversations, we decided to increase from 5 to 10 minutes the fragment of each conversation to be transcripted. In addition, although in our plan only preparatory first pass transcriptions (non CA-level) were contemplated, we decided to increase the detail in the transcriptions and now are close to comply with the conventions of the PRESEEA Project. The collaboration of Mr. Keita Kikuchi, student of the Master's Program in Global Studies of the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, has revealed of a great importance to achieve these optimal results regarding the transcription process.

For the next stage of the project (2019-2020), we plan to achieve the following goals:
- Completion of the recordings and the formation of the corpus, taking into consideration the difficulties that arose during the first stage.
- Continue the transcription of the recordings.
- Start of the analysis of the data, both quantitative and qualitative.

In conclusion, we consider that the results of the first stage of the project are more than satisfactory and allow us to start the second stage.
