| Abstract |
遺伝情報解析技術の目覚ましい進歩と共に、医療における診断、治療への応用が進み、ゲノム医療は様々な領域で身近なものになりつつあり、人材育成が急務とされている。看護では、単一遺伝性疾患や先天性の障がい等を中心に遺伝的課題を有する患者・家族へのケアを、看護師・保健師・助産師が担ってきた実績はあるものの、急激な医療の変化に対応の困難が生じている。一方、遺伝看護専門看護師が誕生し、その役割に期待するところも大きい。本稿ではゲノム医療の現状を概観し、その中でも診断・治療共にゲノム情報の活用が急速に浸透しつつあるがん医療に焦点を当て、遺伝看護の展望について述べる。
