| Abstract |
本研究課題では、研究代表者が見いだした極めて新規性の高いアリールマロン酸脱炭酸酵素をモデル酵素として用いた。そして、構造情報と性質の異なる多数の酵素の配列情報を対応づけることで、今まで不明な点が多かった構造と機能の関連性の全容解明を目的とした。そして、高精度での酵素機能の分子進化手法の開発や、従来最も困難とされていた活性向上などの機能改変を達成した。
