| Abstract |
幾何学において不変量は重要な役割を果たしているが、本研究ではその中で指数と基本群についてそれぞれ異なった動機づけで解析が行われた。前者においては指数の局所化と呼ばれる現象をシンプレクティック幾何学におけるトーラス作用において見出し、定式化を行った。後者においては複素曲面の基本群の分類に現れるSL(3, Z)の共役類の問題について幾何的な問題との関連について多少の進展を得たが、まだ理解されていない部分があり、研究は続いている。
