| Abstract |
様々な病態や老化に伴う認知障害に広く有効な薬物を開発する目的で、新規作用点をもつ薬物の探索を行った。高親和性コリントランスポーター(CHT)はアセチルコリン合成の律速段階を担い、その活性は細胞内のトラフィッキングにより制御されている。CHTのトラフィッキングをモニターするアッセイ系を確立して1000種以上の化合物をスクリーニングすることで、CHT作用薬のシード化合物を得た。また、アルファー7型ニコチン性アセチルコリン受容体の内在性リガンドSLURP1の神経系での発現部位を同定した。
