本研究課題においては, 福島第一原発事故後に, 国民の放射線・原子力に関する認知, 知識等が事故前とどのように変化したかを調査し, それに従った放射線・原子力教育教材の作成を行うことを目的とした。教科書調査および中学校へのアンケート調査に関して, 解析を終え, 学会発表を行なった。現在, 他の内容と併せて論文発表を準備中である。これまで作成した教材の教育効果を検討するために, 毎年小学5年生～中学3年生を対象とした放射線教室を開催した。本放射線教室では, 講義, 実習, および放射線利用に関するディベートを行い, 放射線の基礎から応用まで教育実践した。これらはスウェーデンを中心に国際的展開を実施している。
In this study, after the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant accident, the changes of recognition and knowledge about the radiation and nuclear have been investigated in students and science teachers of elementary, junior high school and junior high school. According to these findings, the developments of teaching materials for radiation and nuclear were carried out. In addition, we have researched the descriptions of radiation and nuclear in textbook of elementary, junior high school and junior high school, and have compared with descriptions before the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant accident. A part of results have presented in the radiation conference. In order to confirm the validity of teaching materials, off-campus education events have been held every years. These events were consisted of lecture, training, and debate on radiation and nuclear. These are conducted internationally revolve around Sweden.
