Abstract 
腫瘍や炎症で増大するガス分子を顕微ラマン分光を利用して検出し, 画像化する新しい技術開発を行うことを目的とした. まず近赤外領域で高感度にラマン散乱光を取得する光学系を構築し, ナノ秒時間ゲートシステムを用いることでバックグラウンド蛍光の除去を実現した. 培養細胞に応用し, 腫瘍細胞の培地中グルコース濃度を定量した. 今後, 腫瘍低酸素による糖代謝と, ミトコンドリア呼吸を制御するガス分子との関連を明らかにするツールとして応用可能であると考えられた.
