| Abstract |
平成20年度より開始した超高齢者研究「長寿社会における高齢者のくらし方と健康に関する学術調査」において、平成20年、21年、22年の計3回実施した調査の結果を、3年間を通してデータを得られた協力者における経年変化として分析した。分析にあたっては、比較的健康で、活動的な前期高齢期と異なり、身体機能や認知機能の低下、死別等による社会関係の縮小がすすむ超高齢期において、well-beingがどのように変化・安定するかを中心に検討した。分析を行った結果、85歳以上の超高齢期においては、認知機能等で低下する傾向が見られたものの、well-beingは低下せず、安定していることが示された。また、超高齢期のwell-beingに関連する変数を階層的重回帰分析により検討した結果、身体機能の低下、および経済的な困窮度はwell-beingの危険因子になることが示唆された。一方、社会的ネットワークの大きさやソーシャルサポート等の社会関係、および社会的活動が超高齢期においてwell-beingの資源となることが示された。
