| Abstract |
日本が得意としてきた公開情報の質的量的精査の手法を援用し, 北朝鮮の新資料も用いて金正日体制の存続要因を検証した。北朝鮮から発信される情報はプロパガンダに過ぎないとの批判を受けつつも, 依然として検証の余地があるものであり, 金正日体制が国内外の厳しい状況をいかに克服しようとしたのかがよく分かるものであった。とりわけ国内では「先軍」のスローガンを掲げて体制を引き締め, その後の新たな外交・経済政策に向かうための基礎を構築していった。
Japanese researchers have shown a superior ability to examine public information diligently and rigorously not only in quantitative nature but also qualitative. Although available information for the study of North Korean politics has become more diversified, and its official documents are criticized for being nothing more than propaganda, the examination of these documents is still valuable. By studying the materials that I newly obtained, it could become clear just how the Kim Jong-il's rule has managed to dominate in the harsh domestic and international arenas.
