Recently, psychotherapy values science based on evidence, for example, cognitive-behavioral therapy. However, there are a lot of processes and results of psychotherapy which are not able to be explained in scientific causality. Psychotherapy is thought to be come from ancient religious acts. In a word, faith leads healing. Originally, God and Buddha are only "Cure human" or "Heal human", therefore human such as priests who carry out ceremonies are in the mediation posts. This paper focused on the case that was possible to explain only by not scientific causality, but "dependent origination" in the Buddhism concept. Furthermore, cases were introduced, where psychotherapy conflicted with religion. Finally, it was examined how to associate psychotherapy and religion in the future.
