The developmental process of newly-entered college students was monitored over the four year period (from the entry point to the point of graduation), utilizing written questionnaires and personal interview. Toward understanding socio-psychological mechanisms whereby the student comes to assimilate into and progresses the college life, longitudinal analyses are to be performed over the four year data accumulated. As the first step, information collected through the questionnaire was subjected to a factor analysis and reduced into a manageable size of data. Homogeneity reliabilities and test-retest reliabilities (stability over time) of the factor-analytically derived scales are reported.
