Abstract |
While the role of adjustment costs in general equilibrium models is widely recognized there is no compelling reason to believe that such adjustment costs will be uniform across sectors. This paper demonstrates the implications of asymmetric adjustment costs for the Rybczynski theorem. The Rybczynski path is shown to be a special case of a more general expansion path.
