前年度に引き続き、最近の中国の航空交通管制や「防空識別区」に関する資料・情報等を継続的かつ広範囲に収集し分類整理した。とりわけ、中国側によって台湾海峡上空に設置され2018年から本格的に運用が開始された新航空路M503と、これに対する台湾側の反応に関する情報の収集に努めた。また、航空機の運航管理や航空交通管制の関係者の知見や意見を聴取した。さらに、カリフォルニア大学やスタンフォード大学において、現代中国の軍事・安全保障関連資料を収集した。これらの成果を元に、台湾海峡上空の新航空路がもたらす中台間の現状変更に関して、下記論稿を執筆して発表し、中国が軍事安全保障だけでない領域でも、自国の国益を追求してさらに現状変更を進めていることを明らかにした。こうしたことによって、本研究３年計画の最終年度における研究の総括の準備を推進することができた。

・Collecting books, articles, information and data on Chinese civil aviation, air trafic control, aeronautical rules and laws and technology.
・Collecting the press reports, documents and information on the international aiway M503 over the Taiwan Strait which became political and military issues beween China and Taiwan in 2018.
・Interviewing with the persons concerned about air trafic control and aircraft operation.
