本研究では, 20世紀フランスで活躍した哲学者であるエマニュエル・レヴィナスの倫理思想に焦点を当てた研究を行なった。レヴィナス哲学の意義についてはこれまで多くの研究があるが, 主に哲学史的な観点からのものが多かった。これに対し本研究では, 科学技術が進展し従来の「人間」概念が名実ともに変容し「ポスト・ヒューマン」という概念が提示される現代的な文脈のなかで, レヴィナスおよび現代仏語圏の倫理思想がどのように意義を有するかを検討した。国内外での文献収集・精読, 専門研究者からのヒヤリング, また現代の幾人かの思想家との比較研究を行なった。その成果は2017年中に単行本として公開予定である。
In this study, we focused on the ethical philosophy of Emmanuel Levinas, a philosopher in the 20th century France. There have been many studies on the significance of Levinas' philosophy, but, in this research, this significance was examined in the contemporary context where the science and technology advances and the traditional "human" concept has transfigured both name and reality to the point that the concept of "post-human" is presented. We gathered and read the literature on this subject both in Japan and in France, interviewed from specialists of related domains, and compared with several contemporary thinkers.The results will be released as a book in 2017.
