| Abstract |
本研究では, 言語の様々な側面において「同じであること」を禁止する必異原理をテーマとして, 未だに解明されていない発話(広くは産出)に対する影響を実際の言語使用データを使って新たに調べた。そのことにより, 必異原理がどのような役割を持つかということに加えて, その違反が実際の言語表現でどのように回避されるかということを明らかにすることを目的として計画を実施した。複数の言語現象を対象とした検証により(「借用語の有声促音無声化」「連濁」「二重対格文」), 必異原理が持つ共通の性質とその違反の回避方略が明らかとなった。
This study focuses the nature of Obligatory Contour Principle (OCP), which bans similarity on various linguistic levels, in spontaneous speech. In particular, the study explores hitherto unknown effects of OCP on production using a speech corpus of Japanese. The goal of this study is to uncover 1) (potential) roles of OCP on linguistic patterns, and 2) patterns in the avoidance of OCP violations in spontaneous speech. By examining variations in geminate devoicing in Japanese loanwords, rendaku, and sentences with multiple accusative nouns, the study uncovered properties of OCP and patterns in repair strategies commonly observed in distinct linguistic phenomena.
