| Abstract |
精神障害者のサクセスフル・エイジング(幸せな老い)を考えるために、地域で暮らす統合失調症患者57名(平均57.6歳)を対象に2008～2012年に継続的に向老意識と老後への準備行動の調査を行った。その結果、①向老意識は健常者に比べ肯定的で、特に医療・経済について楽観的、②老後への準備行動はやや乏しく、特に家族・経済面で乏しい、③高いQOLは肯定的向老意識と関連し、長い入院期間は乏しい準備行動に関連、④4年間で向老意識・QOL・社会機能は不変だが準備行動は活発になった。準備行動の活発化は、福祉や支援の成果もあろうが、地域生活により現実検討力が向上し積極的に将来への準備を始めた可能性も示された。
We studied on attitude toward aging and preparing behavior for old age of patients with schizophrenia dwelling in the community. The results were as follows: (1) Attitude toward aging of patients with schizophrenia was positive than that of healthy group. (2) Preparing behavior was somehow poorer than healthy group. (3) Higher quality of life (QOL) was related to more positive attitude toward aging and longer hospitalized period was related to poorer preparing behavior. (4) For four years, preparing behavior has become more active. Result (4) suggests that patents may start active preparing behavior for old age, by improving social skill. In order to achieving successful aging of patients with schizophrenia, not only improving social functioning or QOL, but also preparing behavior for old age is required.
