| Abstract |
19世紀前半のプロイセン農業改革の過程において、農民の領主に対する建築用木材の請求権の償却が重要な争点の一つになっていた、ということが本研究の第一の発見である。この発見を出発点としつつ、本研究は、領主の農民に対する建築用木材下付の史的展開を、17-19世紀のより長期の歴史的展開の中で論じた。これは従来農業史的文脈のなかで論じられてきたグーツヘルシャフトの歴史を森林史的文脈において論ずる新しい試みである。また以上のプロイセン史に関する実証的知見をもとに、日本とプロイセンの近代林政史の類似性を強調する研究への若干の反論を行った。
