| Abstract |
腸管上皮における免疫細胞においては特にCD4CD8aaT細胞という抑制系のT細胞が存在することが明らかになった。さらにTregから一部分化することをこれまでに示したが、その細胞分化に重要な因子については不明であった。CD4CD8aa細胞における分化に必要な特徴的な遺伝子と同定し、関連性を証明した。さらにヒト炎症性腸疾患患者においても同じ遺伝子群がCD4CD8aaT細胞に関与していることを示した。
We found that immune cells in the intestinal epithelium contain suppressor T cells, CD4CD8aaT cells in particular. We have also shown that CD4CD8aa T cells differentiate in part from Treg cells, but the factors that are important for their differentiation are unknown. We identified the key genes to develop CD4CD8aa T cells in intraepithelial compartment. In addition, we showed that the same gene is involved in CD4CD8aaT cells in human patients with inflammatory bowel disease.
