| Abstract |
経済や企業活動において，補完性はひとつの重要な特性である。従来，関数のスーパーモジュール性や差分増加性という形でアクティビティ間の相互補完性に関わる研究に焦点が当てられていたが，本論では，同一のアクティビティに係る自己補完性の概念を導入し，これら３種類の補
完性の間の関係に着目した理論を考察する。特に，相互補完性から自己補完性が発生したり，自己補完性を有するコア・アクティビティに補助的アクティビティを整合的に追加して強化していく中で相互補完性が発生したり，というような，異なる種類の補完性のからみ合いに関する研究結果を示す。このからみ合いによる補完構造の複雑化は，企業のような組織において，アクティビティという機能面の階層的発達に対応したものと考えられる。本論では，補完性に関する諸定理を紹介するだけでなく，それらを分析ツールとして，企業内の諸アクティビティと補完性との関わり方を考察する。
