Abstract 
1991年,94年,95年の通産省『企業活動基本調査』をパネル化したデータを用いて,企業の社齢や海外進出,研究開発の違いが雇用に与えている影響を分析した結果,暫定的ながら次のような結論を得た。(1)社齢の若い企業のほうが雇用創出率は高い反面,雇用喪失率も高く,企業によって雇用の変動に一層大きな違いが見られる。社齢の高い企業には成熟企業が多く,雇用創出率は小さいが雇用喪失率も小さい傾向が見られる。ネットの効果としては,雇用喪失率の差に比べて雇用創出率の差のほうが大きいため,若い企業のほうが雇用は大きく伸びて
