| Abstract |
本稿は, これまでの「日本の産業革命」についての主要な議論(二部門定置説, 綿業中軸説, 在来産業工場制工業化論, 動力革命論, 数量経済史的アプローチ, 比較制度分析, 地域産業革命論)とイギリス産業革命に関する最近の潮流の検討を通じて, 後進国日本における産業革命論の課題と展望をグローバル・ヒストリーの視点から考察する。
This article considers the case of Japan as a latecomer country in the context of global history. It reviews the main arguments about Japan's industrial revolution in the late nineteenth to the early twentieth century along with recent trends in research into the British industrial revolution
