| Abstract |
The purpose of this study was to compare student evaluation of five-days outdoor recreation intensive course in Keio university conducted in 1996 and 1998, and investigate effects which students were conscious. The subjects were a total of 43 male and female students. To measure student evaluation, the questionnaire including 34 items was administered. To measure effect which students were conscious, the composition describing their impression of the outdoor recreation intensive course was administered. The following results are obtained: 1) 69.0% of students evaluated outdoor recreation intensive course "very good". 2) Optional program, night program and recommendable lesson were evaluated negatively between outdoor recreation intensive course conducted in 1996 and 1998. But the means of each item were 4.0, students evaluated outdoor recreation intensive course conducted in 1998 positively. 3) 44.0% of students were conscious of natural recognition, 37.2% of students were conscious of the cooperation, and 34.9% of students were conscious the encounter.
