| Abstract |
The purpose of this study was to get five different fitness test norms, i.e. Body composition, Flexibility, Muscular strength/endurance, C ardio-respiratory endurance, L eg power, w hich were combined to make the Keio university health-related physical fitness test standard. Mean and Standard deviation of each fitness test was as follows; Body composition(male 16.6% +-4.1, f emale 22.7%+-3.8), Flexibility (male 11.9cm+-7.5, f emale 15.5cm+-6.8), Muscular strength/e ndurance(male 26.2times+- 4.4, female 18.ltimes+-3.7), C ardio-respiratory endurance(male 28.2ml/kg/m in +-4.4, female 22.9ml/kg/m in% +-3.1) and Leg power(male 18.1W /kg+-2.7, female 12.5W /kg+-2.3) Based upon these results, f ive rank test norms were developed for male and female students. The combined use of these two norms was recommended.
