本研究では未承認国家に関する多面的な研究を国際的に行い, 書籍, 論文を多数発表し, 学会等での報告も国内外で多数行い, 多くの成果を発表した。特に『未承認国家と覇権なき世界』の出版の成果は大きく, 同書では未承認国家の先行研究を整理した上で, 現存の未承認国家の比較検討を行い, 新規的な議論として大国の対外政策(特に海外軍事基地政策)と未承認国家の関係を明らかにするなどし, その国際的影響を問うたところ, 大きな反響を得ることができた。また, 最終年度は「凍結された紛争」の研究課題を絡め, 研究をより発展させることができた。来年度以降は国際共同研究基金に採択されたことから, より国際的に本研究を継続していきたい。
In this study, I carried out the multi-dimensional and international cooperative research on unrecognized states, and I published many books and papers, and read many papers at the academic conferences both at home and abroad. Then it has been called the great responses. The most distinguish result was the publication of the "Unrecognized State and the world without hegemony ." It made clear the previous studies, did the comparative study of unrecognized states, and report the new study on its international influences focusing on the big power's foreign policy (especially overseas military base policy); and it was able to get a great response. In addition, I studied this issue with the new research agenda "frozen conflicts", and succeed to make the further development. I will develop this research with international joint research in the future.
