| Abstract |
研究期間全体を通じて概ね順調に取り組みを進めることができた。すなわち, 本山・触頭寺院や幕藩領主と関わる諸文献を検討することで, 事実関係や論点を整理し, 新たな成果を順次, 学会報告や論文によって発信した。これにより, 日本の近世中後期における仏教教団の地域的編成とそれに基づく幕藩領主との交渉について究明し, 政教関係論の構築に繋げることができた。日本近世史以外の研究者も交えた学会・図書での成果の発表も実現した。
I was able to execute the research plan almost smoothly. By examining documents related to head temples and Bakufu-domain lords I arranged the facts and arguments. And I compiled new results as academic presentations and papers in turn. Thus I revealed regional formation and connection with the Bakufu-domain lords by the Buddhist sects in the late Edo period, and built a historical image on the relationship between politics and religion. In addition, I also disseminated results at interdisciplinary academic societies and books.
