Abstract
In an effort to harness Japan's potential as a Global leader in the vital fields of Science and Medicine the Japan Science and Technology Agency has undertaken several projects with the foremost objectives including the promotion of education to the brightest High school students selected from all over Japan. These projects which begun in 2009 and continuing until 2017 have the primary focus of Medical Science education. Keio University was one of several Universities chosen from across Japan for our expertise in the area of Medical education. Here, at Keio's School of Medicine we have implemented this education through carefully selected courses and workshops by Medical Doctors, Scientists and Teachers each with expertise covering a broad range of topics within the area of Medical Science. Here, we report our experience on this project practicing education including the difficulties and what we have learned so far.
