| Abstract |
満州重工業育成に全力を挙げる日産財閥は,国内企業集団については自動車工業経営をのぞき,再編と集約化による効率的運用を極力すすめた。この再編劇において最も重要な役割を演じた日立製作所が,日中戦争の拡大に対応して軍需化を意思決定し,また結果的に重工業企業集団を形成した過程を考察するのが,本稿の課題といえる。戦時経済のなかで軍需増産が叫ばれたのは当然であり,これに呼応して鮎川義介は日産自動車と東京自動車工業の合併を計画し,小平浪平は日立製作所と東京瓦斯電気工業の合併を進める。この東京自動車工業と東京瓦斯電気工業
