| Abstract |
資源不足の克服をはかって,日本政府は南方に軍事進出をするがその成果は海上輸送路の確保困難もあって思うようには行かなかった。そこで戦局打開を目指して1942年から国民経済を航空機生産に集中する政策がとられるが,原料問題はこの達成を不可能とするものであった。このため軍官民一体となって,部品原料の代用化を航空機増産の鍵と位置付け,開発実用を促進していった。本小稿は代用開発の中心とされた特殊鋼の代用化過程を分析し,その経済的また軍事的意義の考察を試みたものである。
