| Abstract |
英国福祉国家は新自由主義→社会投資国家をへていま緊縮国家化しているが, これに対して, ロンドンのホワイトチャペル地域では, 働く貧困層・移民などへの社会的包摂が機能し, トインビーホールによるコミュニティ組織化も行われている。2015年の庶民院総選挙とロンドン市長選挙にむけた党候補決定をとおして, 労働党は反緊縮国家を選択しつつある。現地調査および文献調査をとおして, 社会的包摂によるオルタナティヴ形成の可能性と限界を考察する。
The UK welfare state has turned to the neo-liberal state and the social in-vestment state in 1980's-2000's, and then an "austerity state" is shaping in 2010's. On the other hand, the author studied the case of Whitechapel area in London, and found that several types of social inclusion had functioned among the local working poors, and so had community-organising by the Toynbee Hall and others. After the election in 2015, the Labour Party appears to choose new social-inclusive anti-austerity strategies. The author explores the (im)possibility of alternative politics with social inclusion in the UK.
