| Abstract |
近年, 代数幾何が最適化問題へ応用され, 目覚ましい成果を上げると同時に, 逆に最適化問題も代数幾何へ新たな問題を提供している。本論文では, 代数幾何が最適化理論の枠組みの中にどのように現れるかを解説し, 応用として多項式最適化問題の大域最適値を求めるアルゴリズムを具体例を用いて説明する。
Recently, real algebraic geometry has been applied to investigate optimization problems and has met with great success both in theory and in application. On the other hand, various optimization problems in the real world provide new challenges to algebraic geometry. In this paper, we explain how algebraic geometry appears in optimization theory, and as an application, we discuss algorithms for finding global optimals of polynomial optimization problems, together with concrete examples.
