| Abstract |
倫理学の分野における正当化の方法として知られる反照的均衡が, 本来合理的な見解変更の規準として考え出されたことを再確認する。次いで, Humeによる懐疑論から始まる伝統的な帰納的推論に関する論争を含む, 科学哲学における様々な議論を考える場合に, この観点から整理された反照的均衡が大きな役割を果たすことを示す。また, 反照的均衡の概念の形式的な特徴づけを行う。
This study reconfirms that the reflective equilibrium, as a method for justification in the field of ethics, has been traditionally considered as a criterion for reasonable opinion change.
In addition, it shows that when we consider various debates in philosophy of science, including the controversy over traditional inductive reasoning started with Hume's skepticism, the reflective equilibrium organized from this perspective plays a significant role.
Furthermore, this study performs a formal characterization of the concept of the reflective equilibrium.
