| Abstract |
The contemporary Japanese rural communities are delayed, agonized and falling into stagnation. In order to get rid of such situation, it is necessary to renew the communities from a view point of rearrangement of the homing life space. There are six problems to revitalize a certain rural home village such as improvement of life environment, revival of local culture, substantiality of community welfare, reorganization of a local organization, activity of a self-government organization. There is a general idea of "homing life sapce" on the basis of these problems. "Homing life sapce" can be defined as a space in which man spent his infancy and childhood, therefore it has a nature of an extended space of himself" and he can feel intimate and ease here. Actually the real rural life may be far from "homing life space as an ideal". There are various contradictions and oppositions in real life of living persons, but they should aim at "a homing life space as an ideal" to do real life to make better and they should rearrange life space.
