The purpose of this paper is to clarify the influence of "National intangible cultural properties" (国指定重要無形文化財) when folk customs transform into "National culture" (国民文化). This paper first of all examined the process that "Wido Tibe-Nori" (蝟島ティベノリ) got  National intangible cultural property". It takes enoumous time and budget to search all the folk customs in one country. Therefore, Korean case, the government operated  National folk art competitions" (全国民俗芸術競演大会) holders of folk customs around the country. At this occasion, the most excellent competition won  "Award of president" (大統領賞)  that eventually appointed as "National intangible cultural property". In same way, "Wido Tibe-Nori" also was designated as "National intangible cultural property" which is originally New Year festival of Deri (大里) village and the case study of this paper.  In order to participate in convention, this folk rite got a new name and religious element was omitted. Further more in this paper, it is shown that new  interpretations to this rite were created by the photographers who take pictures of "National intangible cultural property" on the NewYear's  Day by the lunar calendar. Since having been received the specification of "The Korean intangible cultural property", the hegemony of "WidoTibe-Nori"  has been expanding from the local people to the exterior. As examined above, winning the "Around of president" evaluates one folk rite as Korean culture.  Becoming "Korean culture" changes recognition of Korean nationals towards that folk rite. As such process, one folk rite transforms into  "National culture"
