Abstract
In this paper, we report the results of a curriculum for Spanish language education at Keio Shonan Fujisawa Senior High School. A new curriculum has been underway since 2018 to provide consistency to the Spanish language education between the University and High School in Keio Shonan Fujisawa Campus. Based on this curriculum construction research called "Spanish Language Education at High School and University Level for the Construction of a Multilingual/Multicultural Society" we applied for a Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research from the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), and it was accepted (Fundamental Research (c) JSPS KAKENHI 21K00791). We also report how we adjusted our curriculum to the on-demand teaching during the Covid-19 crisis as well as how we adapted to changes in the organization of classes within the school. At the same time, we describe the opinions of students who took classes during the on-demand period in Grades 5 (two lessons per week) analyzing the impact of teaching Spanish under this curriculum and its effectiveness.
