平成30年度は２年計画のプロジェクトの2年目であり、その研究成果として、実験結果を国内外の査読付き学会にて発表した。学校選択問題は医師と研修先病院のマッチングとまったく同じ構造を持つ問題であり、被験者の認知能力と彼らへの情報の与え方によって、生徒の学校に対する割当の効率性にどのよう差異が生じるかを計測した。論文のタイトルなどは次のとおりである。

現在、助成を受けた研究を評価の定まった国際専門誌にて刊行することを目標に、原稿の精査を行っている最中であり、近日中の投稿を予定している。
また、前年度に収集したアンケートデータを整理し、医師と初期臨床研修先の病院のマッチングだけではなく、彼らのキャリア形成と医師の就職市場を含む分析を行うための基礎データを蓄積を進めている。次年度からは、これらの成果を基に、重層的なマッチングメカニズムの理論的考察を開始する。その取り組みの一環として、昨年度にはワークショップを開催し、国内外の参加者にご参加いただき、多様な意見を拝聴する機会を得た。そのプログラムは次のURLから閲覧できる。

このように、本プロジェクトは理論に依拠して設計された制度の事後評価とそのためのデータ収集に重点をおいてきたが、マッチング制度の運用上の改善をめざしており、国内外の研究者、医師、病院と共同で今後も継続して取り組む。
The fiscal year 2018 is the second year of the two-year project of this research. We presented a paper as a result of this research at peer-reviewed conferences both in Japan and abroad. School choice is a problem that has exactly the same structure as the matching between trainee doctors and their training hospitals. We investigated how cognitive ability of subjects and information given to them affect the efficiency of assignment of students to schools. At present, we are in the process of revising the manuscript for the sake of publishing some papers related to this project we received this grant.
We are analyzing the questionnaire data on doctors' preferences over workplaces to study not only the matching of trainee doctors and training hospitals but also their career development. From the next fiscal year, based on some results of this data analysis, we will start theoretical research of "multi-layered'' matching mechanism. This project has focused on ex-post (empirical) evaluation of the system designed from the viewpoint of theory, but the final goal of this project is to improve the practical operation of the matching mechanism. We will thus continue to work jointly with doctors and hospitals.
