According to extend of educational period in pharmaceutical university, the profession of pharmacy is changing. The pharmacy professionals must stay current and keep up with advancements in practice, technology and research. All pharmacists, especially those who practice in community and hospital pharmacies, must keep up-to-date through continuing professional education. And many pharmacists want to study more.
 Although the Kyoritsu University of Pharmacy established the Center for Lifelong Learning in 1998 to meet this need for pharmacists, the Center also incorporates into its vision the need to address societal health care needs and education for other health professions as well.
 In addition to specific courses for pharmacists, the Center welcomes those in the pharmaceutical industry and general public as well. Various open lectures are held throughout the year and sometimes seasonally for professionals and the general public. In 2006 Center has the Automated External Defibrillators (AED) course and starting nutrition study course.
 Continuing professional education course are held at the Kyoritsu University of Pharmacy campus where over 4500 enrollees have attended them. This educational system of the Kyoritsu University of Pharmacy is better then other pharmaceutical university.
 The pharmacy professionals must have continuing professional study all one’s life.
