Abstract 
カスティーリャ語(スペイン)散文は、14世紀末からのカスティーリャ王国の政治・社会的動揺の中で、人文主義およびイタリア･ルネサンスの影響のもと、従来にも増して発展した 。聖職者を主とするラテン語の使い手たちの俗語に対する圧力や詩人たちからの散文に対する侮蔑に抗して、カスティーリャ語散文の書き手たちは自意識や自我を確立し、これらを自らのことばで表現していくようになり、そこでは修辞学技法が重要な役割を果たした。
