Abstract 
経済大国化しつつあるインドネシアにおけるテレビ放送について「公共性」と「商業主義」という観点から多角的に分析した。具体的には公共放送が定義づけられた2002年放送法制定をめぐる調査と研究、民放における公共性の確保をめぐる調査、公共広告放送やニュースの分析、地方局の現状に関する調査をおこなった。公共性がうたわれつつも、テレビ放送が商業的利益の追求や政治的動員のために利用される現状が明らかにされた。
